How do creators get paid on Telegram?
Creators on Telegram get paid in a few ways: Telegram Stars for paid media, gifts and bot services; paid subscription channels; and direct payments agreed in a private chat (payment links, bank transfer, crypto). There is no single 'Telegram payout': each method has its own fees and rules, which is why most creators tell you their preferred option once you message them.

Telegram Stars
Stars are Telegram's in-app currency. A creator can price photos, videos or a channel in Stars; fans buy Stars in the app and spend them. The creator withdraws Stars later under Telegram's conditions, minus Telegram's share and, on mobile, the app store's commission. Convenient for fans, but a creator receives noticeably less than the sticker price.
Paid channels and bots
Telegram supports paid subscriptions to channels and lets bot developers charge for services. Some creators run a private channel behind a paywall; others use a bot that unlocks content. The fan experience is smooth, the fees are Telegram's.
Direct payment in the chat
The most common path for a personal account: the creator sends a payment link or payment details in the conversation. Payment processors, bank transfers and crypto all appear here. Fees are usually lower than in-app purchases, which is why many creators prefer it, but it relies entirely on trust, so fans should verify the username first and never pay an account that contacted them out of the blue.
What fans should expect
A real creator explains what you get, at what price, and how to pay, before you send anything. Pressure, countdowns and requests for gift cards are warning signs. If a creator was found on TeleSearch, their profile shows when we last checked the link; it does not vouch for any transaction.
What TeleSearch does and does not do
TeleSearch is a directory. We verify that a listed account is a real personal account and link to it. We do not process payments, take commissions on chats, or see what happens in the conversation. Creators and agencies can promote their listing, which is how the directory is funded.
Questions
Does Telegram take a cut of creator payments?
For Stars, paid channels and bot payments, yes, plus app store fees on mobile. Direct payments agreed in a chat do not go through Telegram.
Is paying a creator directly safe?
It is safe when the account is confirmed and the creator explains the deal first. Verify the username, avoid gift cards, and never pay someone who messaged you first.
Can I pay through TeleSearch?
No. We only connect you to the creator's Telegram.
