Telegram channel, group or personal account?
A personal account is a person you message one to one, a channel is a broadcast feed where only the owner posts, and a group is a shared chat room. Creators use all three. To talk to a creator directly you need the personal account, and the button on the profile tells you which type you are looking at.

The types side by side
Open the t.me link and read the button under the name:
- Personal account: shows Send Message. You chat one to one with the person.
- Channel: shows Join Channel or View in Telegram. Only the owner posts and subscribers read.
- Group: shows Join Group. Members talk to each other in a shared room.
- Bot: a program that answers automatically. Bot usernames end in "bot".
How creators use each one
A channel suits public updates and previews. A group suits a community that chats together. A personal account is where a creator answers fans one to one, and some creators also sell paid media there in Stars (see Telegram Stars explained).
Many creators keep one personal account per market so they can answer in the right language. Having a channel and a personal account at the same time is common, and is not a red flag by itself.
Which one is the real creator? A checklist
Before you follow a link, check these points. More detail is in how to tell if a Telegram creator is real and in Telegram scams to avoid.
- The username matches the one on the creator's own page, letter by letter.
- The type matches what the creator says: a creator who promises one to one chat should have a personal account, not a channel or a bot.
- A channel that uses a creator's name and photo but offers a chat through a bot is a common copycat pattern.
- Instant, scripted replies from a profile that looks like a person usually mean a bot.
Why TeleSearch lists personal accounts only
Only a personal account lets you message the creator directly, so that is the only type TeleSearch lists. When a link is submitted we open its public t.me page and refuse channels, groups and bots (see how we verify). You can search the Telegram OnlyFans directory without an account.
If you are a creator, list your personal account so fans reach you and not a copy.

Questions
Can a creator have both a channel and a personal account?
Yes, and many do: the channel for updates, the personal account for one to one chat. Check on the creator's own page which usernames belong to them.
Can I message a channel?
By default a channel is a one-way broadcast feed: only the owner posts. Some channels turn on direct messages, free or paid in Stars, but a personal account is the direct way to chat with a creator.
How do I tell a bot from a person?
A bot username ends in "bot" and the profile is labeled as a bot. A personal account shows Send Message and belongs to a person, though a person can also run automated replies.
Does TeleSearch list channels or groups?
No. TeleSearch lists personal accounts only and refuses channels, groups and bots when a link is submitted.
What if a creator only has a channel?
Then follow the channel for updates. Some channels allow direct messages, but check the creator's own page for a personal account, which is the direct way to reach her or him.
